How to become accredited

If you fulfill the following criteria you may apply for accreditation:

• Trained and/or experienced foremen/supervisors
• Agree to abide by the Code of practice
• Agree to periodic inspection of finished product
• Agree to periodic inspection of working practices on site
• Agree to disciplinary procedures
• Maintain adequate PL insurance (£5,000,000)
• Documented H&S policy and Risk Assessment
• Maintain method statements for all operations
• Structural calculations for all tentage over 10m span (TDS)
• Payment of an annual fee

Accredited Contractors are encouraged to join the Performance Textiles Association to gain additional benefits however membership is not an absolute requirement.

You will be subject to inspection prior to acceptance, the fee for which is non-refundable even if accreditation is refused.
