Setting Standards

MUTAmarq, through its parent association, has been involved in the setting of all of the standards that relate to the industry, many of which it has actually instigated.

• Fire Safety Risk Assessment - Small and medium places of assembly from Department of Communities and Local Government Guide 6
  (Guide 9, Outdoor Events is now published)
• BS EN 13782:2005 Temporary Structures - Tents - Safety
• MUTAmarq Accreditation full Code
• Specific Code for working at height relating to multi-storey structures. (Currently before the HSE for approval)

It is hoped to gain official recognition of MUTAmarq during 2007 and discussions with the HSE are currently in progress.
